Wonderful envelope created and sent by FinnBadger. He added great matching bird stamps, too.
The envelope was based on a calendar with pictures by the great artist Charley Harper.
See the variation of birds! I consider my own drawing style sometimes far too realistic, so I feel I can learn from Harper's minimal and so well depicting style.

I've never heard of this artist (I mean Charley Harper; with FinnBadger we exchange mail!), and I like his style so much. I am amazed how people always seem to find the best matching stamps!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHarper has designed several famous bird drawings, of which I knew the Cardinal bird (if you google 'cardinal bird harper' you'll see some versions, maybe you recognize him?).

VerwijderenWell, I consider it no poor flamingo but a brave one! Not because of the water drops (in the fog) as flamingo's are used to water, but because of the cold fog in our region :-)
