FinnBadger (2)

Wonderful envelope created and sent by FinnBadger. He added great matching bird stamps, too.

The envelope was based on a calendar with pictures by the great artist Charley Harper.
See the variation of birds! I consider my own drawing style sometimes far too realistic, so I feel I can learn from Harper's minimal and so well depicting style.

Love it, thank you very much, FinnBadger!

  1. I've never heard of this artist (I mean Charley Harper; with FinnBadger we exchange mail!), and I like his style so much. I am amazed how people always seem to find the best matching stamps!

    1. Harper has designed several famous bird drawings, of which I knew the Cardinal bird (if you google 'cardinal bird harper' you'll see some versions, maybe you recognize him?).
And oh yes, I am so happy with the bird stamps on the birds envelope! Especially the puffin, but at second sight there is so much more to see!

  2. The postmark makes the poor flamingo look like it is flying through fog. Glad you liked the bird-related mail.

    1. I didn't realize, but now that you wrote it, I see! Great postal addition!
Well, I consider it no poor flamingo but a brave one! Not because of the water drops (in the fog) as flamingo's are used to water, but because of the cold fog in our region :-)
