Micu (6)

Happy Worms and searching Birds, watched by her, and added to my 'what or whom is she staring at?' card by Micu.

This year, Micu has a wonderful mail art project, themed endangered animals. Please check her website and join!

The stamp shows Penguins, the European Ground Squirrel, and real braille.

Thank you very much, Micu!

Great mixed media mail art from Micu from Hungary!
The Fox shouldn't be hunt by people, Micu writes on the back of this card.
And I agree with her. (Although all rabbits and hares would be very pleased if people would hunt foxes - but I think people should not hunt rabbits and hares either, even though these long-eared animals eat all vegetables from our local garden before I get the opportunity to harvest them.)

This Fox fortunately is friendly, he or she even allows a Sheep to sit on his/her back, to make it a real Easter card!

Thank you very much, nagyon szépen köszönöm, Micu!

This amazing Toucan was created by Micu from Hungary. She is a master of recycling art.
I had send her some colour test prints (cut out of cardboard packages, most of them were four to six in a row) and she cut them precisely into monocoloured squares, out of which finally this Toucan was born.

Also the envelope is from recycled material. And behind the bottom of the beautiful 'water' postage stamp sheet (the main part you can below) you can see a glimpse of Fred.

By the way, Micu has a great mail art project 'Mail a Smile', via which you can send a mail art 'smile' each month to someone who can use a smile.

Thank you very much, Micu, nagyon szépen köszönöm!

This mail art was created by Micu. So sweet! This tiny bird and rabbit (or hare) have arrived safe and sound, to wish me - and all of us/you Happy Holidays!

Thank you very much, Micu!

Micu from Hungary has send me a beautiful Fish, which is a surprisingly piece of recycling art.
Cardboard and plastics are common materials to recycle into mail art. But this is the very first time that I see medicine packaging turned into art!

Depending on the direction from which the light comes and the amount of light, this fish is changing colours, exact as happens when the fish is swimming in the sea:

Thank you very much, Micu!

For the ones who would like to create mail art (not from pill packagings specificly), and who don't know where to send to: check Micu's great project Mail a Smile.

For the ones who are interested in the recycling art creating process and/or need more ideas: check her recent blog on this subject! In case you don't use pills and don't know anyone who uses them, there are several other sources, like bubblegum packaging, etcetera.

Wow, this is a strange animal!
It's Phidippus mystaceus, a tiny spider ('jumping spider') who's just 1 centimeter in size

Thank you very much, Micu!

Micu has a blog about three other nice animals, see here.
And together with Jennie she started a very nice project: Mail a Smile. Such a great idea to send smiles to people who can use them, so if you want to participate: check out Mail a Smile and join!
