I love comics, and those of Mail Art Martha are great. See how Ali Khat and Vermina Rat are chatting. And wonder, with us, whether Vermina will succeed in entering the IUOMA Orange group or not :-)

She added also a tiny book in which there is an explanation about apples, Celts and Halloween. Interesting!

I always love Mail Art Martha's Snail Mail Snail. This time the Snail came along with a well-known Owl on the envelope.



Inside the envelope Martha sent me a portrait, drawn / rubbed by Martha herself. And lots of coffee!

And she added music!! It's the second song I ever read and heard about mail art. The very first song I happened to hear yesterday, named 'Mailart dada skank' by Rod Summers and Tom Winter. You can find it at Rod's page, then scroll down and click the link to the song. I think Martha and I should collaborate to make Martha's mail art song into a hit, too :-)

This Mouse jumped into our house, thanks to Mail Art Martha!

The mouse is a mammal, similar to mankind and to superheroes.
Martha's envelope contained several of them. Most important is this hero: the Postman!




In the Queendom in which Mail Art Martha is living, it is Postman Kevin who supplies Martha of all kinds of delicious mail art.
A real hero, who deserves to be on a stamp himself, and fortunately Martha issued a Postman Kevin stamp. You can see the stamp showing Kevin here, and if you look close, an other Postman is honoured, too, by a rubber stamp print: the Snail Mail Snail!

Mail Art Martha surprised me, not only with a new version of her wonderful envelopes showing a horse stamp and postman Kevin. But also with a nice booklet. Great beach sketches!
With some great animals among these, too. The Sea Duck, the Pigeon, a and several Human beings.

Mail Art Martha sent me two, no, in fact three treasures: a Rabbit (or Hare?), the famous Mail Snail (on the envelope, both rubber stamp and postage stamp). And artistamps of her Postman, Kevin!



Of course Postmen are people whom we should cherish. On the stamp you can see how he brings both mail art and a smile to Mail Art Martha.
So it's a good idea to dedicate a stamp to this very important person!

The Ostrich! Great (and large) weird bird, who flew ran to my mailbox thanks to Mail Art Martha.

Among the Ostrich also these Puffins arrived, by both air and snail mail :-)



(I wonder why this picture suddenly reminds me of the phrase 'There's nuffin like a puffin')

And the envelope brightens my day, too, by these wonderful rubber stamp prints of two other nice weird animals: the Horse, and the Mail Snail!
And of course there's the official stamp of the United Queendom of Retailia.

Mail Art Martha

Thanks to Snail Mail Snails we are able to exchange Mail Art all-over the world.
So everytime I see a crawling snail, even when he/she is eating my crop instead of delivering mail, a smile arises on my face.
And Mail Art Martha was so kind to send me snails!
Above you can see the Artfull Snail.
Two Heraldic Snails you can see on this map of the United Queendom of Retailia: they are holding the shield (which shows an other animal: the famous Cuckoo).



And on the envelope there's the Snail Mail Snail again working hard to get this mail on its destination.
