Hana Ehagaki (4)

The New Year 2017 has begun. Some weeks before the new year I received this great drawing, printed on a postcard, by Hana Ehagaki from Japan.
The Shoebill Stork is a quiet and impressive bird. And this peticular one is extra dear because this bird brings... Mail!

Hana also has made these wonderful rubberstamp prints:

The Rooster on the stamp reminds me of the fact that the new year didn't start completely yet: it is still the Year of the Monkey, and the New Year of the Rooster will start within four weeks!

Thank you very much, arigato, Hana!

The Moray Eel I always thought a dangerous fish for its sharp teeth and strong jaws. Fortunately both the fish and the lady, but also the postcard and the postmen survived the journey from Japan to the Netherlands.

The addition to the 'What or whom is she staring at?'-lady has been created by Hana Ehagaki. Thank you very much, arigato, Hana!

This beautiful goat drawing has been issued on a postcard. I was so lucky to receive this card from the designer herself, Hana Ehagaki from Japan.
And look at the great Goat stamp and suitable green stamp!

Thank you very much, Hana!

Ehagaki Hana

This beautiful colour pencil drawing of a Warbler has been created by Hana Ehagaki from Japan.
The drawing arrived in this beautiful envelope:

With the animals came these interesting postmarks, among them a stamp print of the Kingdom of Amaooi.
And more Birds! A Shoe-billed stork, and a Gannet, so to see (?).

And beautiful train designs (besides animals, I love trains).

Thank you very much, Hana!

And especially I am happy - and feel honoured - by the fact that this time he choose to use my version of the Orion Soup.

From Vizma B.? From Marie W.? From TongJianCheng!

An interesting parcel arrived in the Netherlands, all the way from China.
From an unknown sender!

Containing a present, which made me very Happy!
A beautiful fabric pen case, with a very friendly text, accompanied by two friendly vegetarian animals: the long-eared Rabbit, and the long-necked Giraffe.

Always 'in' for nice surprises. But also always too curious to know where my received mail comes from... Frustrating to not know that...

Wait... Look at my name above the address. How could the unknown sender know that I had a discussion about 'babbelaars' lately?

(About 'roomboterbabbelaars', even!) That could have been some Princess, or Peeee. Or accompanying Person.

Anyway, who-ever the generous sender is (Vizmaaaa!): Thank you very, very much!!
